Delivery & Pickup

Can you schedule a midnight (12 AM) cake delivery for a surprise?

We do not offer midnight delivery due to safety, noise, and operational reasons. Orders can be scheduled for daytime delivery and safely stored for a surprise reveal later.

Midnight delivery policy

We’re flattered you’d like Rashmi’s Bakery to play a starring role in your 12 AM reveal, but we don’t deliver at midnight. Late-night drop-offs can disturb neighbours, conflict with building security policies, and fall outside municipal noise and commercial-vehicle bylaws. More importantly, our delivery partners—and the families they return home to—deserve safe, reasonable working hours. For all these reasons we limit deliveries to daytime and early-evening windows when couriers, recipients, and communities are comfortable and alert.

How to pull off a memorable surprise without the midnight knock

Order your cake for a convenient daytime slot, then:

  • Stash it safely in your fridge (sealed box, level shelf) and add candles or décor just before the big reveal.
  • Time your celebration for early morning—most sponges taste even better once flavours settle overnight.

In short, while we can’t ring doorbells at 12 AM, we’re happy to deliver during regular hours and guide you on keeping the cake fresh for that unforgettable moment.
